Most of the time yes- the loom, the color shade, and ornamentation are copied because each piece is custom made and sometimes newly woven when you order it.
Most special orders will take approximately 2 to 4 weeks from your order confirmation. However, depending on the saree design and amount of work involved, some of the heavier sarees such as the Paithani and the Kanjivaram may take a bit longer. You will be given an approximate completion date when you order.
Price ranges for the majority of the celebrity sarees start from around ₹17,000 - ₹20,000 for a simply designed saree (the design may include embroidery). It is not uncommon for the price of heavier, handwoven sarees to exceed ₹1,80,000 or more for a full Kanjivaram or Paithani saree, or much more for intricate jamdani sarees.
